I worked for many summers doing programs with a marvelous farmer named Melissa. She owned Willow Creek Orchards. Unfortunately, she had to leave and it has been taken over by the Longview Center for Agriculture. On Saturday June 4th, they invited me to their grand opening to demonstrate how to make French omelette with spring vegetable rataouille. It was a beautiful day. There were many different stands for tasting and a lot of demonstrations. I was set up in my usual spot, underneath the covered porch and I made many many omelettes and many happy people. It was a festival of strawberrys – they tasted delicious. Therefore for a grand finale I made a strawberry omelette!
